Does Bloom decide who gets hired?

No. Bloom recommends and explains; the hiring manager decides. Nothing moves to the next stage without their say-so.

Can I use my current ATS?

Bloom is built to plug into Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workable, so recruiters keep working where they already work. All four open to founding design partners first. Teams without an ATS can run the whole hiring process on Bloom instead.

What happens to candidates Bloom archives?

Only candidates who are clearly out — a missed deal-breaker or a clear mismatch on the criteria — are archived, and the reason is recorded with them. Everyone else is scored, explained and kept in the pool. An uncertain deal-breaker on its own never archives a candidate.

Where is my data stored?

Primarily in Canada. The database runs in Supabase's Canada Central region and the application is served from Vercel's Montréal region. The Privacy Policy has the details.

Is there a per-seat charge?

No, and there never will be. Every plan is one flat monthly price with unlimited users. Plans differ only in how many candidates are included each month.

What does "Start free" mean?

Bloom is free during the founding design-partner period, and paid plans begin at general availability. Founding partners keep their founding pricing for 12 months after that. Sign up, post a role, and see the engine work on real applicants.

How does Bloom handle names and bias?

A name is not a criterion: the candidate's name, email and phone number are removed from the résumé before it is scored. Every score opens to the criteria and the evidence that produced it, so what moved a score is visible. The fairness page explains the whole method.

Can I change the criteria after posting?

Yes. Criteria cards are versioned, so a change creates a new version and every score records which version it was scored against. Nothing is silently rewritten.
